The Literature Option (120 total hours) begins with ENGL 2020 (Introduction to Literary Studies) as gateway and culminates with ENGL 4800 as capstone seminar. Requirements include at least two 4000-level pre-1800 courses and two post-1800 courses, a minimum of 18 hours at the 4000-level or above, and an advisor-approved minor.
