A one-year LL.M. degree program taught entirely in English, launched in 1994 as Japan's first fully English-taught Master's program in law. The International Economic and Business Law (IEBL) program equips both Japanese and international students to confront the challenges of contemporary international economic affairs and commercial transactions. The curriculum spans most major fields of law with emphasis on business and law, innovation and the smart society, law and development, and cultural heritage.
Undergraduate law degree from an accredited university; English proficiency (TOEFL iBT 92+ or equivalent via conversion chart); sufficient financial support. Program requires 20 credits + Master's thesis of 50+ pages.
