Medical Laboratory Science

Prepares graduates for a career as a medical laboratory scientist, developing observation, test-collection, recording and interpretation skills; the final year includes placements in diagnostic testing laboratories in New Zealand or Australia, ahead of MSCNZ registration.

University Entrance (or equivalent) with a minimum of 14 NCEA credits each in Biology, Chemistry and Statistics; indicative rank scores 210 (NCEA), 280 (CAIE), 29 (IB); Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act compliance including police clearance
