Philosophy

AUT's Doctor of Philosophy is the university's highest qualification, undertaken by research only and leading to advanced academic/theoretical knowledge in a specialist area chosen by the candidate. It is offered across all AUT faculties (e.g. Architecture, Law, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Health Sciences, Psychology) — it is not a subject-specific 'Philosophy' doctorate.

A Master's degree, or a Bachelor's degree with Honours (4-year equivalent with the final year at postgraduate level) at first- or second-class honours standard
