AUT's LLB degree uses interactive lectures and case-study workshops to develop analytical, reasoning and legal-solution skills. Part I combines two compulsory law courses with electives from another AUT degree; a B grade average in the law courses secures entry to Part II. Graduates become eligible for admission as barristers and solicitors after completing Professional Legal Studies.
