Social Work

Deakin's Bachelor of Social Work is a four-year, AASW-accredited undergraduate degree based at the Waterfront (Geelong) campus that prepares graduates for professional social work practice addressing social justice, human rights and community wellbeing. Students complete 1000 hours of supervised field placements (two 500-hour blocks) across community and human-service settings. Graduates are eligible for AASW membership and can practise professionally throughout Australia; eligible students may progress into an embedded honours year.

ATAR 50+ (or equivalent); VCE English Units 3&4 study score of 30 (EAL) or 25 (other English)
