Irish Sign Language Pathway (Restricted Entry)

This restricted-entry pathway prepares deaf/hard-of-hearing students to teach primary education through Irish Sign Language, including 30 weeks of school placement and a specialism in deaf education.

Min. H5 in 3 subjects + O6/H7 in 3 others incl. O4/H7 English and Maths; significant permanent bilateral deafness (>=41dB, audiologist-confirmed) or deaf-school enrollment; Irish Sign Language competency exam (65%+ at CEFR B1)
